Project summary:

DND is improving the quality, effectiveness, accountability, and transparency of the OWSO in six districts/municipalities. The implementation is carried out in partnership with OWSO and the District Ombudsman (DO). DND will form Citizen Bodies (CB) in each district who are trained to conduct outreach and record community feedback on OWSO services. The project supports capacity building of the OWSO, DO, commune and district councils, and citizen bodies. Active involvement of citizens is promoted through commune dialogues and the use of community scorecards (CSC). The direct-beneficiaries targeted in this project include: 1) citizens and small businesses (i.e. the owners of small business, workshops, restaurants, and guesthouses); 2) OWSO, DO, and the members of district/municipality; and 3) The citizen body.

Project summary:

DND will partner with OWSO to raise citizen awareness of, and participation in decisions, policies, and programs of district/municipal governments. In particular, this partnership will help to improve the effectiveness of the one-window service
