Project summary:

The People’s Action on Social Accountability (PASA) project of BFD improves policy-making, decision-making, and service delivery through engaging local constituents with policy makers, local authorities, and service providers. The project also focuses on commune council administration services and people’s use of social accountability boxes. BFD mobilizes villagers in target areas through the formation of Accountability Community Activists (ACA), and works closely with the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment Division, Provincial Capacity Development Advisor (PCDA), district councils, commune councils, and other stakeholders.
