The project utilizes the community score card (CSC) and participatory planning (PP) to promote constructive community feedback on services, identify and plan strategies for service improvement, and monitor this improvement. The project closely monitors effectiveness of the tools, including video recording the process and outcomes. The project builds the capacity of 900 villagers and 239 community mobilizing committees (CMC) to ensure that they understand their rights. WP works with service providers including teachers, health staff, and local government staff to build their capacity to increase citizen participation in planning and service feedback.
